  • Operations in response to the Kingston Wildfire will commence tomorrow, Wednesday, August 13.

  • Rotation 5 has assumed SARVAC HWF shelter support duties as Rotation 4 demobilizes.
  • An additional evacuation shelter in Portage la Prairie, MB β€” 80 km from the HWF Base of Operations β€” is now being supported by SARVAC HWF.

As of August 11, more than 7.3 million hectares have burned across Canada in 2025 β€” more than double the 10-year average of 2.9 million hectares for this time of year.
