The Search and Rescue Volunteer Association of Canada (SARVAC) is pleased to recognize TD for its generous $25,000 donation in support of SARVAC’s Humanitarian Workforce (HWF) Program.

This investment will help strengthen SARVAC’s ability to support communities across Canada before, during, and after emergencies. Whether responding to disasters, assisting with recovery efforts, or preparing for future emergencies, TD’s support helps ensure trained Ground Search and Rescue volunteers have access to the resources needed to answer the call when Canadians need them most.

TD’s generous contribution helps support the training, equipment, and resources that SARVAC volunteers rely on to safely and effectively respond during times of need. This support strengthens the capacity of Canada’s volunteer search and rescue community while enhancing preparedness, coordination, and response capabilities across the country.

SARVAC’s Humanitarian Workforce Program brings together the experience and expertise of Canada’s Ground Search and Rescue community with humanitarian response partners to strengthen emergency preparedness, coordination, response, and recovery. By leveraging the skills and knowledge of volunteers and partners across the humanitarian sector, the program helps build a stronger, more resilient emergency response network that supports communities preparing for, responding to, and recovering from emergencies.

Contributions like this make a meaningful difference in our ability to support volunteers and communities across Canada. We are grateful to TD for investing in the continued development of national response capabilities and for recognizing the important role Ground Search and Rescue volunteers play in emergency management.

From everyone at SARVAC, thank you to TD for your generosity and commitment to building safer, stronger, and more resilient communities across Canada.
