Welcome Home all GSAR Volunteers deployed to Labrador as part of the Humanitarian Workforce Program (HWF)
We are thrilled to welcome back all GSAR volunteers who were deployed to Labrador as part of the Search and Rescue Volunteer Association of Canada, Humanitarian Workforce Program (HWF).
Your dedicated support followed the mobilization of volunteers from Newfoundland and Labrador and Nova Scotia, and came after the Evacuation Order for the Town of Labrador City was lifted on July 22, 2024, with the phased re-entry last week.
We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you for answering the call of duty and offering your invaluable services where and when they were needed most. Whether you were actively involved in rescue operations or on standby, ready to assist, your commitment and hard work have made a profound difference.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your efforts and are honoured to have you as part of the HWF team.
Welcome home, and thank you for everything you do!
